Eifel Water Source Way (Eifeler Quellenpfad)

Water influences our landscape: wide floodplains, deep V-shaped valleys, small and large streams, water sources, marshland and ponds are natural habitats that give the North Eifel a special atmosphere. This 68 km long hike leads to numerous water sources. This includes the source of the Eifel Rivers Ahr and Urft, and also the catchment of the Roman Canal, which is a nearly 2000 year-old man-made technological masterpiece in the Urft valley near Nettersheim.
